Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Bucharest, Romania)

We are currently looking for an experienced IFS Finance Consultant to support a long-term IFS programme for a client in Romania.
This opportunity is ideal for a consultant with strong IFS Finance expertise and a solid understanding of Romanian finance processes, localisation requirements, and statutory reporting.
Support the configuration and optimisation of IFS Finance modules
Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
Provide functional expertise and best-practice guidance across finance processes
Support testing, user acceptance activities, and issue resolution
Assist with system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Deliver training and knowledge transfer to end users where required
Act as a key liaison between business users and the project team
Strong hands-on experience as an IFS Finance Consultant
Experience with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud (IFS Cloud preferred)
Strong knowledge of:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Fixed Assets
Cash Management
Financial Reporting
Experience with finance process design, configuration, testing, and user support
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
Experience working on ERP implementation, upgrade, rollout, or optimisation projects
Native Romanian speaker
Strong knowledge of Romanian localisation, accounting standards, tax requirements, and statutory reporting
Ability to work effectively with local finance teams and business stakeholders
Available to start in July 2026
Able to travel occasionally to Bucharest when required
